USC Armenian Graduate Students' Assocation Fundraising Mixer!!!

Since our last event a few months ago where we
generated over $20,000 for noteworthy charities
encompassing human rights and education advocacy [to
which our gratitude is extended to all who attended
the Gala event], the USC AGSA is now seeking to help
raise funds for our Christian Armenian Youth of Iraq.
Let us all come together and show our support for
the next generation of Armenians!
Let us allow these Armenian children to escape the obscenities of war and live in an environment of education and opportunity.
Come and bring all your friends to our next mixer
event to socialize, network, and with fellow Armenians, help raise needed funds. We have a big goal to reach
with this event, and your support would be extremely

USC AGSA Monthly Networking Lunch!!!

What a year it's been - January started off with our record-breaking Annual Gala which generated $25,000 for our beloved charities, February was our cooling-off month with a modest turnout of 50 attendees at our monthly lunch at Anush Restaurant, and NOW! Well, now we are changing the pace a bit. This month's lunch will be held in a more casual setting, at the residence of one of our strong supporters, which has been graciously sponsored by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian.
What does this mean? For the "Godfather" film fans among us, it's simple: every major move the character Michael made was somehow tied to a church festivity. So we are getting the Archbishop's benediction to have another friendly get-together with plenty of food, great friends, warm conversations, and lots and lots of networking USC style! And maybe, if we're lucky, the Archbishop might provide us with wine since, after all, if it comes from him, then drinking it is part of being a faithful Armenian.
So, mark your calendars, tell your friends, and come see what you've been missing out if you've never been to one of our lunches.

The USC & UCLA Armenian Graduate Student
Associations (AGSA) will be hosting a joint holiday
networking mixer and fundraiser at the beautiful Tiger
Lily Bar & Lounge in Hollywood.
Take a break from the Christmas shopping and join your
fellow Trojan and Bruin family for a night of
mingling, cocktails and good old networking.
The USC AGSA will use its proceeds to deliver, through
a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to
needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into
responsible and productive community members. The UCLA
AGSA will use its proceeds towards campus and
community programming.
